OK folks, having the car prepped and inspected for VIR I DO have enough brake left for this event, a lil over 50% at this time.
Should I stay with the HP+, or should I experiment with the blues at this time?

My opinion is you should mount the Blues this weekend (that way you learn how to do it), and bed them in to your current rotors. Then remove them, and drive to VIR with the HP+. Then put in the Blues when you get there, there will be plenty of time.
ReplyDeleteUnless you get that trailer, then just leave the Blues in after bedding them in.
Greg, that is the way I am leaning at this point. I am still on the fence about the car hauler though, but need to jump off soon.

Its really important to bed those pads and rotors. You don't want to go out with out-of-box stuff because the rotors will get torn up and possibly chunk the pads.
